Well...it may sound poyos irking/cheezy to anyone else..

but to me & chang-chang..well..we really love books & study..

so..here I am today..looking at old photos.. suddenly becoming so nostalgia, sentimental,

well..let's sum up with we love study & hope can study throughout our lives :)

anyway..chang2 really love to eat the murtabak here & we also love to eat the Ns Briyani Ayam Masala... Plus, it is located at USJ 9, besides Al-Falah Mosque..it's kinda nearby to our home..hehe..

Arab Street??? Well, since I am Johorean..I am quite familiar with some of the streets name in Singapore.. so, after I came back from this restaurant, googling here & there.. well..the origin of Victory Rest. is indeed fr Singapore.. I guess the one in USJ 9 is their branch in Malaysia..hehe..

ok..this is in S'pore... 

p/s: I do wonder y it is called the New Victory Restaurant..hmm..

Nasi Briyani Ayam Masala - RM9
Where's the chicken.. it's inside lor..pakka..haha..

It came along with side dishes consists of pappadom, dalca & acar..
on that day, we did try their Masala beef too..nice.. :)

Their ever famous Murtabak..U can opt for many sizes here..
if I am not mistaken the Murtabak size is from XS-XXL..
& of course the price is charged accordingly to the size..
I think we order the S/M size that day...
the price is either RM7 (for S)/RM10 (for M)
cannot r'ber lor..huhu..

Overall..

Tastewise = 7/10..we really enjoy their Ayam Masala & definitely their Murtabak..hehe..
 Service = 7/10..Quick service
Ambience = 5.5/10.. it's kinda warm here..x aircond & the fan also seems no use during hot days/nites..
So..better to sit outside rather than sitting inside..so stuffy.. :)

Xtra note- When I checked out from the hotel, I managed to get the SUPER RUDE staff name.. He is called HALIM... I have asked one of the trainee whether he is a practical student or not, & surprisingly he is a staff there... I thought that he is so rude & incompetent coz he is still a student..SURPRISE SURPRISE...

so, for those who want to stay at UiTM hotel..Beware of this rude black skin guy..WTF again...tq.

Chang2 always love bazar ramadhan..so last sunday (August 22,2010)

she went back to her hometown & being a Bazaarholic there..
hehe, of course la kan..in KL/S.Alam it's so hard to get tasty at e same time murah economical foods..

x need to mumbling so much..coz a picture is worth a thousand words... :)

Ayam Percik Bangsar (RM2.50 per piece)..nice

Roti John (RM3.50).. x tasty at all..haha..roti keras,eugh...

Murtabak Daging..RM2.50.. chang2 always love the Murtabak here...

the stall always located at the entrance of the Peringgit Bazaar, Mlk...

Moment of truth.. I always knew that chang2 love to eat Kuih..

however,this is the 1st time we really realized that she really love Kuih that much..MUCH = Kuihholic aka Kuih addicts..hehe..

Clockwise - Popia Goreng Sambal, Apam Susu, erk..I x r'ber the green kuih name..but I love to eat it..only the white aka pulut part..x like e green part much & finally Chang2 all time fav which is Kuih Keria Limbungan

think u have had enough of kuih..haha..x yet..

clockwise - Pulut sumthing (i x know many of Malay kuih name,haha), Donuts, My all time fav nyonya kuih which is Angku Kuih (the one with green, orange & red color) plus Pulut Panggang...

Finally, our main course.. Ns Briani Ayam Tanam Has Fa Has RM7 each came along with dalca & pineapple paceri.. x wory if u missed e Bazar this year coz Has Fa Has Ns Briani Tanam is available at Has Fa Has Restaurant in front of Straits Meridian Hotel, Melaka..

I forgot to capture e image of Ns Briani Tanam or in Jb always known as Ns Briani Gam..so I borrowed some images fr other people blog..

this is Ns Briani Tanam aka Ns Briani Gam..u will cook the chicken/beef together with the briani rice..hard work to do but really tasty..hehe.. U need to play hide & seek searching where is ur chicken/beef coz it is there..in e nasi..that's y la they call it Ns Briani Tanam/Gam..haha..

after break-fast..we have decided to window shoppin & end up buying books...

anyway, after we bought novel & chang2 bought ori Japanese DVD called Galileo..it's time for dessert..

I really love to eat Ice Mango here @ Ice Monster..

it was located at the second upper floor..below cinema level..

sory, can't r'ber the floor name..haha..

It is easy to find the shop actually..

opposite ice monster is 1901 hotdogs..
besides Ice Monster is Banana peel the slippers stall..

I have always craving for ice mango since I watched the scene where San Chai & YeSha in Liu Xing Hua Yuan 2 aka Meteor Garden 2 eating the ice mango & strawberry together...

Then, I found out bout the Ice Monster..they do not call Ice Mango here..

name is more commercial wise I guess..hehe..

Basically, on that day we ordered..

Jumbo Fresh Mixed Fruit Milk Iced..what a long name huh..

it consists of ice, a scoop of mango ice-cream, mangoes, strawberries & kiwis chunk plus milk..

however, we opt for x kiwi as both of us hate kiwi..haha..

it's fine coz we got more mango & strawberry then.. :)

I bought the novel last friday..August 20, 2010 at Popular Sunway Pyramid..hehe..

I am so excited coz I finally.. bought the most ever wanted novel on earth...
currently..haha..so exagerrated...

basically, there are 3 kinds of front cover for the novel..

Holla..been a while since I update the blog..bz..(bz meh?haha)

today entry been KIV for a while...

since I & chang-chang are taking IELTS class now..

so we have a lot of opportunities to explore KL city,
which we never did during our MBA..

huh..we were lucky to get some sleep..so x expect to ronda2 la kan..haha..

anyway, on August 4, 2010 we went to Restoran Mahbub located in Bangsar..
we did google bout it & off we go..hehe

It is located at No 17 Lorong Ara Kiri 1, Lucky Garden, Bangsar

It's easy to locate e restaurant..
besides Rest Mahbub is CIMB & opposite of it is Bangsar Village..

More than 30 years.. the signature dishes...

Briyani Ayam Madu since 1970s... RM10.50

Briyani Ayam Goreng... RM10.50

Side dishes that came along with our Nasi Briyani..Acar timun & dalca...

360 view of our food..chang-chang..I luv ur kotak2 blouse.. :)

Roti Canai RM1.40..nice..x oily...

X worry if u cannot stand the heat & curry smell..
u can opt to sit in the aircondition area or outside (non air conditioned area)..

Our total bill RM26.50 (Considered cheap la, taste wise..hmmm)

To sum up..
Taste = 3/10 : Sorry .their so famous Nasi Briyani Ayam Madu since 1970s..well..kinda x suit my taste bud..perhaps I ate too much ns briyani johor..so I can't really find anythin special about it..huhu...

Service = 7/10 : e service here is good..friendly staff x delay..plus, u can opt to sit in the aircond area..which I prefer most,coz I can't stand all those heat..hehe.. however, the waiter that took our order have a soury face..perhaps he is tired..so no smiley face for us..nevertheless..the order came right on time..hehe

Will I come again? Hmm..I guess, I will come to eat their roti canai but x nasi briyani..hehe..
for roti canai lovers..their roti canai is x oily & soft texture..served with dalca gravy & curry is nice too..
