Hola..it's been a while I x update my blog..

bz with IELTS exam..& seriously...it sucks..haha.. 

I am sure 800% that my reading will score either 1 or negative if it is possible..

huh..i cannot finish on time..so no need to mumbling much..end of the story.. I am definitely going to repeat IELTS again...though the result will be out on 5th november.. I am totally devastated & upset with myself..

anyway..this is the entry that I have KIV..as always..

I ate it with my dear chang2 for my post bday celebration (20.09.2010)..

Nasi Ayam Chee Meng is proud to be certified Halal by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM). Halal food is food that complies with Islamic Law or Shariah. Halal stipulates that food consumed to be hygienic, not harmful to health, free from any forbidden parts of  animal origin, and free from anything regarded as filth (najis) under  islamic law. In addition, meat products must be derived from animals that are permissable and slaughtered according to  Islamic Law.

Single Meal Set Order (Normal) RM7 per set
Chicken Rice cum with a bowl of soup & sauce...
If u opt for Drumstick/ Boneless set (RM7.50 per set)

Tastewise : Rice=6/10 (Normal), Chicken=8/10 (Crispy skin, tender in the inside,  Soup=8/10
Sauce=6.5/10(lil bit too spicy for me, but chang2 loves it..she's fr Malacca ma..hehe)

Side orders.. I never eat chicken rice alone..hehe..
Small Taugeh Tiram aka Oyster Bean Sprouts (RM5.50)
Tastewise : Crunchy 8/10

Steam Towfoo (RM8.90)
Tastewise: 8/10 ( I love it)..

5 sticks of Chicken Satay serve with "nasi impit" & nut gravy/sauce..(RM8.90)..
Tastewise: No fat found & the nut gravy is too spicy..but OKla I guess (7/10)..

Total damage that day..hehe.. not expensive & worth it..

FYI, BB is the HQ or main branch...there are 3 other outlets available...

Do come early coz if not..u have to wait for the seat to be available..
Parking-wise..well, it is located at BB,so u know how hectic & chaos it will be.. u can park at Low Yat Plaza & walk from there for about 3mins..or u can park at the private car park space which will cost u RM6 per entrance..ur choice..hehe..

Bday Presents...

This year..well..I kind of sad..bcoz I guess..it is my fault..my expectation is so high... anyway...only my dad & chang2 wished me exactly on 12pm..others...well..they still wished me, but the next morming..better la than nothing kan..haha..whatever..

I have realized something this year..it is ok..I have learnt my lesson..indeed very well..haha..revenge??? well..nope..it juz I considered them as x significant anymore la kot..hehe..

when I was 9..I went to Lake Toba with my family..& from there I knew bout polaroid..since then..I have always wanted to buy it..
Can u imagine..19 years have passed..& tnx to chang2..here I am..with my own mini polaroid...

anyway..I have KIV this entry for ages..been so bz..

so basically, on the nite of my bday (September 19, 2010)..I have said to chang2 that I want to eat noodles..as I am mixed chinese + malay..
I still believed in some of chinese traditions such as eating noodles = longevity aka long life..haha..

so, we have decided to eat at one restaurant located at Sek 13 Shah Alam..
I really love the amibient plus the food here..hehe..

it is called Rest Asli Kg Siam in Malay, Thai Village Rest in English..but we called it Rest Pak Ndak (long long story).. It is in the same row with Jom Lepak Cafe (Linda Rafar)..

Just managed to snap the cover..one of the staff with smiling but not ikhlas face asked me whether I still wanna have a look at their menu..huh..so..I gave it back to her la...like I care..haha..

typical Thai restaurant will serve u a plate of nuts & crackers after u have ordered..same goes here.. u also can opt not to have those snacks..they will cut it off from ur bill later..well..since it is my bday.. I x mind paying for the nuts + crackers..hehe.. Price :RM4.50...

Fresh Orange (RM3.50) for me & Root Beer Float (Rm3.80) for chang2

My longevity noodles..hehe..so exaggerated..tastewise=yummy.. Price:RM7.50

Fried Rice..must order menu here..I really love the fried rice..hehe.. Price:RM7.50

Our side order..Sotong Goreng Tepung aka Fried Calamari served with thai sauce..Price : RM15

My fav too..3 pieces of Chicken Pandan.. Price:RM13.50

The staff also will give u this 4 serangkai aka 4 mates..hehe..it consists of sambal belacan, lada jeruk, dried chilli & salt (if I am not mistaken la,haha)..it's FOC..

it is indeed a nice place to eat..hehe..

Wet tissue.. RM0.30 each..same here..u also can opt, if u x take e tissue, they will deduct it in ur account..there's nothin FREE in this world huh..hehe..I x mind bout e tissue anyway..

Taste-wise = 8/10 (I like it coz x spicy..really suit my tastebud,hehe)

We woke up late on my bday..then..chang2 decided to eat Ns Beriani..since she's craving for Sirap bandung Soda (RM3.50) there..hehe..

so..JM Bariani..here we come...

This is what we ordered on that day..slurpy...
Nasi Beriani Ayam Masak Merah (RM12) cum
with ciput acar buah (x enough la) + dalca (share also, haha)..

where's the chicken..where's the chicken.. I am inside..inside lor.. hehe..

Everytime when I eat Ns Beriani, I always ordered extra beef beriani..
well..fr Johor ma.. inheritance..ahaks..
in a front row Beef Beriani (RM7.90), back row dalca..

 

We sat really near with the ice cream boxes..so..we have decided to order some ice cream cakes..well..since it is wo de sheng ri..might as well celebrate my bday there...

Price=RM5.50 each..

Tastewise..not too bad lor..u cannot expect the same taste with Baskin Robin/Haagen Daaz..there's a huge price gap k.. haha..

While eating..we watch how the staff there cut off our cakes..it took her a while to cut it..we do wonder why.. ;)

Total spend that day..

Though some people said..the price at JM is pricey..well..for me, it's ok..I really love the taste actually..so x find it too pricey..plus, it is KL ma.. eventually..for me..it's not bout the price..at the end of the day it is about the food taste plus..the MOST IMPORTANT is the SERVICE & AMBIENCE...

if the food taste heavenly..but the SERVICE lauya..wallaowei..I will ban that place definitely..haha

JM Bariani has a lot of outlet..Tesco Shah Alam happen to be one of them..
