I went to Malacca last month with Chang2 to satisfy my craving for Yong Tau Fu and decided to singgah Roti John Barkat before we heading back to KL, and guess what, they have moved to a new place, ptffftttzz..
Luckily, the new relocate outlet, is nearer to Chang2's home..haha, Good la kan..

Easiest landmark is to google maps/waze Giant Bachang Malacca. It is located nearby Giant,hehe..

One update, the price of the whole chicken is RM20 per bird, not RM18 anymore. Well, it is 2014 already and can't blame them for the price hiked. Everybody need to survive,hehe..

I have been craving for ayam golek lately..as we x sure bout where is the best Ayam golek in KL/Sgor, thus we went to Ayamas / Big Plate to eat ayam shah alam..

i think it's been 2 years that we x eat ayam golek + roti john at Restoran Barkat in Malim, Malacca...

so, last monday (August 2, 2010)..as both of us in Malacca, chang-chang & I have decided to stop by at Rest. Barkat on the way back to shah alam.. So basically, not much has changed yet..hehe..

On that day, we ordered:-

Half chicken with sauce to dip in..Slurpy..

coz it's too delicious,we did tapau another half bird to eat it at home, hehe..
Price = RM16, half bird = RM8

Roti John long size (it is burned in the inside, dunno y la, luckily x affect e taste much)
Price = RM3, half john = RM2

Fried Rice served with soup for me, hehe..i am too famished..
Price = RM3

BP Beriani Power Restaurant @ Tesco Malacca Branch

Yesterday, we had our lunch at Tesco Malacca..

due to my mom wanna buy ready made baju kurung for eid..

we went to foodcourt there & nothing is tempting enough for us..

so mom said that she wanted to eat Nasi Beriani 

(can u beleive it after last nite sinful dinner in Serkam, the next day we eat Nasi Beriani..haha)

When we entered the restaurant, only 2 tables were occupied..

hmm..x so good impression..hehe..

I forgot to capture the menu..but I did r'ber that ayam msk merah dish

my fav, is served on Friday & Saturday only..hmm,quite a dissapointment..

anyway, I opted for Chicken Briani Gam Rice

Briani Gam is differed & supposely tastier than Briani Rice 

coz the chicken is cooked together with the basmathi rice in the same pot..

the briani gam rice is well blend with the chicken hence it taste heavenly indeed..

Chicken Briani Gam Rice served with sauce that usually been served with Chicken rice..odd huh but taste wise..it's ok..
in fact taste even better with the sauce..

Mom did order Telur pindang, originated from Johor

the eggs is boiled for hours with all sorts of herbs & soy sauce,

process is hassle so the price is quite expensive..
at pasar larkin JB previously, it will cost u bout 50cents(7 yrs back price),
however at BP rest. they charged u RM2 (a lil pricey for me)

We also order Tauhu Bakar but I forgot to take the pic,
taste ok la but the tauhu is too crispy for me

Overall,
Taste = 5/10
I am a Johorean, & I really luv Briani rice, so nothing to shout out bout BP Briani rice
nothing so power..despite e name,hehe

Service = 8/10
Smiley staff + served within less than 10mins..

Price = Total is about RM45 plus
Ok lor but cannot beat Briani Rice located in Muar tasty & cheap,hehe

My mom, boboy & I went to Malacca last Sunday as we need to take a few stuff from our rented apartment in Bachang, Malacca.. we can only stay at the aptment till august, so that's why we have decided to bring the TV & mini fridge back to JB before fasting month..coz it will be tiring then..hehe..

My mom is a seafood lover & basically when we arrived in Malacca 

she told me that she's having a crave for crab..hmm, so typical of mom,hehe..

so our dinner last sunday was at our usual place which is located in Serkam..

From our apartment, it took about 30-40 min to Serkam..

When we have arrived, we can see that there is a row of new shoplot

opposite our usual makan place..well, as a customer new shoplot means more choice..hehe..

new shoplot is called Medan Ikan Bakar Serkam..
sory bout the pic,low resolution cam..huhu..

anyway, we have decided to eat at our usual makan place as I said to mom

we were really famished & I x want to take a risk to try a new place but x guarantee in terms of taste,hehe

so, this is our fav seafood place in Malacca..

it is called Mohd Nasir & Sharifah, Medan Ikan Bakar
tnx to Chang-chang coz she introduced e kedai to me..

If u're coming from the old bridge, u will see tables & yellow chairs 

BUT it's owned by another owner..we have tried it,
but x so nice at Mohd Nasir seafood..

Mohd Nasir seafood is located at the back of those yellow chairs..
it's easy to know which table which..coz

Mohd Nasir table is covered up with RED table cloth..
So basically, u need to choose ur own seafood here & tell the staff
whether u want them to grill/fried them with ur own style..

Our tempting dinner..hehe..cholestrol..here I come..haha

A sinful of Nasi Lemak with spicy sambal..fuh..
U can opt for plain rice if u're not Nasi Lemak lover..

Mussels @ Kupang Sambal for 2 persons

Sea Bass @ Siakap cooked in 3 rasa style..yummy

Fried Calamari with sauce to dip with..slurp

Mom's fav.. 2 pcs of Mr Crab + 2 pcs of prawn Sambal

Ok..to sum up

Taste wise = 8/10
Service = 7/10 (it took less than 30 mins for us to have our food though
there are about 2 tables waiting to be served before us)

Price = 10/10
haha..can u believe it the total price is RM67 (70cents discount) only including beverages

 such as Nes Tarik, Limau Ais, Fresh Orange & 2 skyjuice
plus, we did order 1 xtra Nasi Lemak (total 4 ns lemak)

here I attached the receipt coz I managed to find it,haha

I am so into flash forward TV series..

so I have decided to buy the novel as well..
